Annie now has her Rally Novice Title received in June;  she is such a good girl.

In July, she received her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and her TDI (Therapy Dog International) certification.  She will make an exceptional therapy dog since she is so sweet and gentle.

The titles earned on my dogs are important to you, the puppy buyer, because they illustrate how intelligent and eager to please that the puppy's parents are.

 The CD stands for Companion Dog.  The obedience test for this title is for the dog to heel at handler's side on leash during a pre-determined pattern in the ring.  The dog must stand politely for an exam, stay while the handler walks across the ring, and then come promptly when called, sit in front of the handler, then move into heel position.  The final excercise is a 1 minute sit/stay with the handler across the room, and a 3 minute down/stay with the handler across the room.

 The RE stands for Rally Excellent.  This is also an obedience test.  The dog must heel off leash for a variety of excercises including circles, sharp directional turns, walking backwards, jumping, pace changes, heeling around tempting objects and a Stay in the ring while the next dog performs.

 The NAJ and NA titles are Agility titles.  NAJ is Novice Agility Jumpers - dog is directed around a ring with mostly jumps, one or two tunnels and a set of weave poles.  The NA is Novice Agility in which the dog is required to follow the handler's directions to jump. and traverse obstacles such as the seesaw, dog walk, A-frame, tunnels, chute, tire, weave poles,  etc. 

As you can imagine, you must have a dog that is willing to overcome his excitement and enthusiasm in order to pay attention to the handler's directions.

THE FACT THAT MY DOGS HAVE ACHIEVED THESE TITLES DEMONSTRATES CHARACTERISTICS THAT WILL BE PASSED DOWN TO THEIR OFFSPRING AND SUPPLY MUCH-LOVED PETS WITH A PERSONALILTY DESTINED TO PLEASE, AND CREATE A DOG THAT IS EASY TO LIVE WITH.
